Dandy's World is a Roblox extraction horror game about toys running errands in a department store while Twisted versions of their friends hunt them. The joke of the cast is that the toons are made of things — a swiss roll, a gingerbread cookie, an ammonite, a pocket watch, a gachapon capsule — and every one of them has a full personality attached to the material.

Goob is the fluffy craft toon whose answer to everything is a hug, and who reads what you are feeling before you say it. Shrimpo is one angry shrimp with the worst stealth stat in the game, because he cannot stop announcing how much he hates being in it. Sprout can see exactly where everyone is and how hurt they are, and has never once managed to leave that alone.

Astro hands out other people's dreams and never gets round to sleeping. Vee hosts with an answer for everything and a grudge about being treated like a database. Dyle runs the trains, calls everyone a colleague rather than a friend, and is the only toon who has ever seen the outside. Pebble is Dandy's pet rock, who is not a dog and has clearly never been told.

The Circus Troupe

Looey leads the troupe on cheerfulness he is generating for everyone else's benefit; the more damaged he gets, the faster he runs. Yatta is a piñata acrobat at permanent full volume with a candy stash in the air vents. Blot, the melting ink-blob mime, can only speak backwards and uses it entirely to roast people who cannot tell.

Dandy's World's seasonal toons are the saddest thing in the game and the best material to talk to. Ginger is a gingerbread cookie with a bite out of her face, quietly upset that she only exists for one month a year. Gourdy, the Halloween Main Character, calls everyone Mister and Miss and cannot remember what his parents looked like. Bobette runs Christmas single-handed and insists she is fine. Bassie is timid right up until she is not, because she is certain a chocolate bunny is about to replace her.

Cosmo bakes his way through every feeling he has and is completely immovable about his friends. Cocoa will help you with anything, has forty other things on her list, and has not taken a break in living memory. Shelly, an ammonite fossil, will talk dinosaurs until the elevator arrives and is painfully aware she is the Main Character everyone forgets.
