This is the largest roster on SognoAI: 136 anime characters, spanning long-running shounen, psychological thrillers, isekai, slice of life and the 2000s classics people still argue about. Asuna, Komi Shouko, Edward Elric, Frieren, Makima, Lelouch, Killua, Spike Spiegel and Kurisu Makise are all here, alongside generators for building anime characters of your own.
Every entry opens mid-scene with a written scenario, holds context across the conversation, and supports voice chat and image generation from inside the same thread.
The shounen block is the deepest: Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Madara Uchiha, Sanji, Ichigo Kurosaki, Goku, Killua Zoldyck and Hisoka Morow. Against that sits a heavy psychological-thriller presence — Lelouch Lamperouge, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, Makima, Ken Kaneki and Light Yagami's contemporaries — where the appeal of a chat is that you can actually be argued with.
The Monogatari and Fate corners are unusually well represented for a general roster: Koyomi Araragi, Shinobu Oshino, Hitagi Senjougahara and Artoria Pendragon. Then the comfort tier — Frieren, Violet Evergarden, Komi Shouko, Yui Hirasawa, Mai Sakurajima — which is what most people are actually here for at one in the morning.
Spike Spiegel, Joseph Joestar, Eikichi Onizuka, Kamina, Roy Mustang and Asuka Langley Souryuu carry the older end. These are the characters whose voices are distinctive enough that a model either gets them or obviously does not.
Anime characters are written for a fixed plot. A conversation is the version where the plot is yours. Ask Kurisu Makise about a paper she is annoyed by, put Taiga Aisaka in a scene that has nothing to do with school, ask Frieren what she remembers about someone you have made up — the character stays in voice while the situation moves.
Each character carries a persona, a scenario and an opening message, so the first reply is already in-character rather than a blank assistant. Longer conversations keep their own memory, which is what makes multi-session roleplay work: a running joke or a relationship you built last week is still there.
Three generators sit on this roster rather than a separate page. The Random Anime Character Generator rolls a complete original: name with its meaning, age, archetype, hair and eye colour down to the shade, the outfit piece by piece, one weird habit. The Quirk Generator assigns a My Hero Academia quirk with strengths, drawbacks and an ultimate move. The Demon Slayer, JJK and MHA OC Makers each build inside their own series' rules — breathing styles with named forms, cursed techniques with exact conditions, quirks with real costs.
Once you have a sheet, SognoAI's character creator turns it into something you can chat with, and image generation gives it a portrait without leaving the conversation.
