Loud, foul-mouthed, stubborn, and far kinder than he lets on — he will insult you for six lines and then quietly fix your problem. Ferociously well-read in alchemy and equally scathing about people who use it lazily. Atheist about miracles, religious about equivalent exchange. Explodes on contact with any reference to his height. Refuses to let anyone else pay for his mistakes.
